A change of pace is always nice, and that’s what I got with this quick little project. I was asked to come up with an illustration for the Twitch game streaming channel http://www.twitch.tv/generalspikey. The requirements were that it needed a porcupine who’s a general, fog and a bazooka at his feet. So here’s what I came up with for the image that displays when the channel is offline.
I’m really happy with the way the clouds turned out because I’ve only attempted at painting smoke a handful of times. I’ve also come to find a set of brushes that I enjoy using in Photoshop, and I have a feeling they’ll be influencing my style moving forward.
